“Robin Hood” Ridley Scotts epic adventure staring Russell Crowe and Kate Blanchet in a big budget film remake of this classic story. Marine Film Services Ltd built 10 boats for the water sequences including four invasion boats to land 26 troops each on a surf beach! Nothing like this had been built before.

There were epic battle scenes on the beaches with hundreds of extras and horses, the surf boats we designed and built were tested in very extreme conditions and another sequence was filmed in Virginia Water as an arrival on the Thames at the Tower of London.

Marine Film services Ltd supplied over 70 rowers for the fleet of boats we supplied.
